"Ugh"

Is a one word to describe how I feel at the moment. Also, "grrrr" "gahh!" and "OHMYGODKILLMENOWDOITDOITDOITPLEASE!" would suffice. At this point, my novel feels like it will never be edited, never be published, and never be read by anyone but me and anyone else I can convince into skimming the first few chapter. I need a Tylenol.....

In other news- I THINK I TOTALLY MET MY IDENTICAL TWIN VIA EMAIL! SHE "ROCKS MY ZACK EFFRON SOCKS!!" (~PhoenixFanatic)

Got a writer's notebook for christmas HAND-SIGNED by CHRIS BATY. AKA MY HERO! If you don't know who that is SHAME ON YOU!!! He's the founder of NaNoWriMo!

Back to the story! I unwrapped my writer's notebook, and there it was- all shiny and new and ready to be scribbled in by your's truly with her terrible, child-like handwriting. And I opened the cover, and-

BOOM!

My mind was blown. Legit- I almost cried. If I could tell him that, I would. I totally would...

Oh. My. Goodness.

NaNoWriMo starts in November. I am so totally psyched.

But at the same time, I feel sad because I'm abandoning Lacey and her merry band of Time Turners for my new novel. Although it's not for forever...

For those of you don't know what NaNoWriMo is...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???

NaNoWriMo is what happens when a bunch of crazy writers get together and mix their insaneness together to form something that is so incredibly boss that the world spontaneously combusts.

Yeah.

You have to write a 50,000 word novel. In a month. From scratch.

Crazy? Yes.

Totally beast? Also yes.

Easy? Heck no.

NaNo planning officially started October 1st, and I already have a pretty good idea of what I want my novel to be about. If you're crazy, or if you love writing, or if you just have nothing better to do in November, YOU MUST DO THIS!

So sharpen your pencils, get out your writer's notebook, and start planning those novels!
