Oh. My. Goodness.

NaNoWriMo starts in November. I am so totally psyched.

But at the same time, I feel sad because I'm abandoning Lacey and her merry band of Time Turners for my new novel. Although it's not for forever...

For those of you don't know what NaNoWriMo is...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???

NaNoWriMo is what happens when a bunch of crazy writers get together and mix their insaneness together to form something that is so incredibly boss that the world spontaneously combusts.

Yeah.

You have to write a 50,000 word novel. In a month. From scratch.

Crazy? Yes.

Totally beast? Also yes.

Easy? Heck no.

NaNo planning officially started October 1st, and I already have a pretty good idea of what I want my novel to be about. If you're crazy, or if you love writing, or if you just have nothing better to do in November, YOU MUST DO THIS!

So sharpen your pencils, get out your writer's notebook, and start planning those novels!

But honestly, has anyone ever realized how friggin difficult it is to write when you have so many distractions all around you? There's TV, internet, cell phones, family members, cats, goldfish, DUST for cryin' out loud!

I've been really trying to just push everything aside for awhile so I can just WRITE! (and the sparkly purple homecoming dress five feet away isn't helping. *Sigh* so sparkly)

Even this blog post is distracting me from what I really need to be doing, and that's writing. So I've decided to go upstairs, lock myself into my room, without food or water, and write until I've gotten at LEAST two chapter completed. Wish me luck, everyone who (doesn't) read this blog. (which makes me sad :( no followers for me)
